Droite et étroite. For me, it looks very idyllic, a bit old-fashioned.

ohh very beauty B&W photo for this path...looks so nostalgic...GREAT choiced!

Nikon a dit…

A beautiful shot - perfect B&W tones.
That is your "Right St."?
We have a Hospital St here in Providence, Rhode Island USA, with no hospital :)

This is a beautiful photo. Had it not been for the cars, it would have looked like it was taken 100 years ago. I love it!

This is pretty good photo. I like it very much, it looks very norrow though.

All your blog this plenty of very interesting photos, I am pleased it much.

Thanks for your commentaries

I love the black and white. They have a timeless air...it could be yesterday...it could be 20-30 years ago.

Right street, it's such a beautiful place!
Like a lot the B/W!

Very nice photo!

In Baton Rouge, there is a College Drive with no colleges (but one primary school), there is East Airport Drive with no airport, and Mammoth Drive which is actually quite small (and does not have a wooly mammoth).

Nice line!! I love the details on the buildings.

Steve Cuddihy a dit…

So close together the buildings are. I like this photo.

Peter a dit…

No lorries around?

A beautiful photo! We can almost imagine we are in a different place and time. You are inspiring me to try some black and white photos. You certainly live in a lovely place!

Annie a dit…

What a lovely photo. In the U.S. I have noticed that every "Easy Street" I've ever seen has been in rough and tumble neighborhoods.

We have a little tiny street called Furneaux Lane in Hilo, i have looked it up on a number of translation sites but i can not find out what it means anywhere...anyone know? I'm stumped (i think its French?)

Olive a dit…

It's so small! Here in north america we're not used to that :)
Great photo. I love the look of the walls on the side of the street.

Great photo. You would think this could be 19th century scene except for the car.

In North Bay, we have a street called Oak Street that used to have oak trees but now it's a "Oak-Free" street, which is unfortunate.

Grande photo.

We don't have many unusual street names here, except for Dedman Street, which of course, sounds like Dead Man. But it is named for someone whose surname was Dedman.

I was born in a street very similar to this one.

In Senglea Malta. Nice picture.

Magnifiques photos. J'aime beaucoup celle d'hier. Certainement, à cause de la présence de l'oiseau...

An interesting photograph. I like the black and white. It fits the picture.

I have good news:

The three baby robins are on their way to Meet the World. I miss them already. It was quite an emotional experience for me.

Le noir et blanc ajoute encore une touche de mystère et de charme "à l'ancienne" à cette ruelle. J'ai bien envie d'aller voir ce qu'il y a au bout!

Nice tone man!!! And i like the angle you took the picture.

Martel, thanks all your wonderful comments. I am sorry I have not been able to comment, but in the transition period between two internet access providers and I have limited access now.

It looks like Martel is a beautiful town.

the angle is just perfect....it gives the picture so much depth...

sonia a. mascaro a dit…

Beautiful photo, Martel! And it is just curious the contradiction of the name "right street".

Thanks for your visiting and comment! Just now I could not remember a name of a street in my city with a name in contradiction with the street... I will think about...

Have a good week!
