Amazing! What year was the old photo taken? And is this the same tree?

Unknown a dit…

This series is spectacular. Amazing how little changes in all those years.

This is a wonderful thing you are doing for Martel and for the rest of us who get to see what was and what is.

I really like your technique of puuting a present day photo with an historical one. Very inventive.

I like the idea of comparing 'now and then'. The night photo is awesome!

And thank you for visiting my blog. Unlike you, I have limited access to the internet on weekend :)

this church has style like no other. lighting as well. I had liked idea of old photos and got a book on my city but wondered if it is ok to copy them - your photos would be OK I guess.

Une belle photo sans doute faite juste à la tombée de la nuit pour avoir... un beau ciel bleu sombre !

wow it's look so similar! I am curious about when the old photo was taken as well.
It's a great building.

Super de voir l'église ancienne et la même église aujourdhui. And the blooming chestnut (je ne sais pas en francais) is wonderful.

buildings of the past can stand against time...beautiful! Will it looks different if the big tree is shifted to the left or right?

Love your idea of presenting each photo. The tree is really huge!! Do you know what tree is that? There's something hanging on the tree isn't it?

Annie a dit…

What a beautiful vision that is. I would love to sit and look at night when it is all lit.
